You'll Never Believe How Much the Solange-Jay Z Fight Tape Reportedly Sold For

The video of Solange Knowles allegedly attacking Jay Z in an elevator at the Standard Hotel after the Met Gala has been viewed nearly six million times on YouTube, has generated a slew of memes and has remained a top Internet trend all week.

So it should go without saying that the viral clip, was sold for a serious chunk of change, a number which may even raise Beyoncé's eyebrows. 

The tape was sold for $250,000 after "being shopped for five days to the highest bidder." The Standard Hotel has hired Hollywood lawyer Marty Singer to investigate who sold the tape. "There are only a handful of people who'd have access to that tape," said the source. "The Standard owns that tape." But, "Once it was out, Jay Z's people felt they couldn't control it. They were reluctant to try and publicly fight this."

Another source told that TMZ bought the video from a female security guard. The source was told she received between $50,000 to 100,000 for it.

The shocking clip, which was recorded May 5, shows four people, presumably, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Solange and a bodyguard entering the elevator before the aggravated woman, who is presumed to be Solange, begins yelling at the gentleman in white (purportedly Jay Z) before launching into a violent attack.

While it's unclear what initially provoked Solange, Page 6 reports that the singer has recently gone through a great deal of turmoil after starting her own record label, Saint Records. "She used to be on [Jay Z's] label [Roc Nation], but now she isn't. And she moved to New Orleans from Brooklyn with her son. Solange still spends a lot of time in New York, but she is further away from her family, which has created some issues."Additionally, the singer shared a few fighting words with Rachel Roy before brawl.

According to a source, "Solange and Rachel Roy got into an argument prior to the elevator incident," which apparently provoked the singer.

Roy has known the Knowles family for years as she used to be married to Jay Z's ex-partner Dame Dash, and yesterday, after the tape was released, Dash posted a picture on Instagram of Solange with the caption "I am actually impressed with her independent spirit, she seems like a fighter."

As for what sent Solange over the edge?

"Jay said something inappropriate to Beyoncé and Solange, and she snapped," a source told. "When they got in the elevator, it escalated quickly the way family tensions can. It got exceptionally heated the way family moments can.""Solange is super protective of Beyoncé," the insider added.

Beyoncé & Jay Z Announce "On the Run" Summer Tour

Beyoncé and Jay Z are hitting the road this summer together.

Queen Bey made the announcement Monday by posting a promotional poster on her website. The picture shows the "XO" singer and the "Holy Grail" rapper embracing and wearing ski masks. The "On the Run" tour begins July 15 in Atlanta, Ga., and concludes August 5 in San Francisco, Calif.

Beyoncé's fan club members will have access to an exclusive ticket pre-sale from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. The general pre-sale continues through 10 p.m. May 1, and general tickets go on sale May 2.

Here's where the power couple will be performing this summer:

July 15 – Atlanta, Georgia, Georgia Dome

July 18 – Houston, Texas, Minute Maid Park

July 20 – New Orleans, Louisiana, Mercedes-Benz Supderdome

Beyoncé finished her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour after 132 concerts in March. Jay Z, meanwhile, is scheduled to headline Budweiser's Made in America music festival over Labor Day weekend. Rumors of a joint tour first surfaced in mid-April.

Are Beyoncé and Jay Z Planning Summer Tour Together?

You'd think these two might want to take some time off, but nope. Page Six reports Beyoncé and Jay Z are planning a 20-stadium US tour that will start in late June, and might see the superstars perform July 4th in New York City. 

Beyoncé and Jay have been performing their hit single "Drunk in Love" together for a few months now, most recently during a London stop on Beyoncé's Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

Despite both just completing months of touring, it seems the rock royalty just can't stay away from the stage. Both showed up at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, Calif. last weekend. Bey joined younger sister Solange on stage, while Jay performed with fellow rappers Nas and Puff Daddy.

Kim Kardashian's 'Vogue' Cover Might Outsell Beyoncé's

There's no doubt about it: Beyoncé is the Queen.  And as Queen she typically reigns over any other basic b*tches that try to stand in her way. But Kim Kardashian might be the exception this time around.

No, the reality star didn't convince Bey to attend her wedding... But she may have proven she's just as powerful as the Queen B.

The New York Post's Page Six estimated that Kim's April Vogue cover could reach both Beyoncé and Michelle Obama's issues.  The "Drunk in Love" singer's March 2013 cover outsold the First Lady's edition 355,397 to 293,798 copies, including digital replicas.  Meanwhile, they're estimating Kim's can sell up to 400,000 copies.

A spokesperson for Vogue refused to comments on the sales figures. Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, however, did leave an editor's note that read: "As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have ready that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue's cover.  He did nothing of the sort.  The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matt is that it isn't true."

And it appears the gossip could prove to be one of the biggest selling points of the issue.

Beyonce and her main squeeze Jay-Z decided to celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary and the end of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour March 27 in Barcelona by paying a visit to their fave vacation spot in the Dominican Republic where the Tinseltown twosome were spotted over the weekend.

Last Friday marked year No. 6 that hip hop's royal couple has been Mr. and Mrs., so baby Blue's mom and dad decided to ditch their usual designer duds and NYC cold weather clothes for more sun-appropriate attire on Saturday on the exclusive Playa Minitas beach at the luxe Casa de Campo resort in La Romana.

The power pair, who was spotted by some eagle-eyed tourists, blended in with the other locals for a drink at the bar,with Bey showing off her newly-long curly locks, famous pearly white smile, and perfectly toned tummy in a bright bold print bikini and sarong with big sunglasses, while the rap mogul looked like a regular Joe in dark swim trunks, a white t-shirt and shades.They even continued their love fest and hand-holding weekend Sunday by going barefoot on the pristine white sands that have been ranked No. 3 on the list of world's best beaches.

Beyonce Has a 4-Year-Old Homeless Brother

Long story short, Beyonce’s father had an affair, fathered a son, isn’t making his usual hefty child support payments because he’s not riding on his famous daughter’s gravy train, so his baby mama is broke and homeless.And she wants the singer's financial help.

Alexsandra Wright, the former mistress of Mathew Knowles, told In Touch that because Mathew’s child support payments have plummeted from a whopping $12,000 a month to $2,400 a month, she has gone broke and no one in the famous family has reached out to lend a helping hand, which it sounds like she would prefer came with a wad of money.

Maybe the cold shoulder has something to do with Bey’s father cheating on her mother with this woman and, in turn, she doesn’t want to give up her hard-earned fortune on someone who, despite her public plight, is still making nearly twice as much than the average person takes home a month in minimum wage.

Although, we have compassion for Bey’s 4-year-old half-brother Nixon, who had no choice when it came to his parental figures, his mom can still get a job to supplement her income.

Since the “Drink In Love” singer fired her dad as her longtime manager in 2011, not surprisingly, his bank account just hasn't been the same. And he won’t have to make those reduced payments to his baby mama for another couple years, forcing Alexsandra to foreclose on her L.A. home, leaving the only option to live in a homeless shelter, she claims.

“Nixon deserves to know his family, and I hope one day he will meet his sister Beyonce," she told the mag.

“I can’t imagine how Beyonce feels knowing that she has a homeless brother. I know if I were in the same position," Alexsandra added. "I would reach out. Maybe she is too busy.”

You know, with that whole international superstar world tour thing, it may be a while.

Beyoncé Shows Off Blue Ivy's Style in an Adorable Black and White Photo

This kid's got style.

Beyoncé gave fans a glimpse at Blue Ivy's adorable outfit in a snap she shared on her Tumblr Sunday, which showed the songstress looking fab as she exited a hotel, with her 2-year-old daughter looking back at her.

In the black and white snap, Blue rocks a top hat, coat and checkered dress, while her mom struts towards her toting a furry purse.

The "Drunk in Love" crooner also posted shots of one of Blue Ivy's mini cars, as well as a shot of the duo looking at giraffes and another of herself holding Blue in a street as rain pours around them.

The mommy-daughter day out came on the heels of the end of her long-running Mrs. Carter tour, which she wrapped up Thursday with an emotional final show in Lisbon, Portugal.

"I want a spotlight" she said at the show. "I want them to see me. If you all don't know, tonight makes 132 shows. Tonight is the last show of the Mrs. Carter Show. We started a year ago and I want to say this has been such a journey. In the past year, we've been through so much together. The Super Bowl, shooting the videos, all of these shows. When I first started the tour, my baby was not even walking yet. I just want you to know that I am so lucky."

Tears started streaming down her face as she continued to talk to the audience, telling concertgoers, "I'm giving y'all an ugly cry. Thank y'all again. Thank you for allowing me to have a career. And when I fall, you lift me up. When I'm hungry, you feed me. And I just want to give you my light. I dedicate this song to you."

The tour marked the highest grossing female tour of 2013, pulling in $188.6 million from its first 107 shows.

Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Blue Ivy Enjoy a Family Bike Ride

The family that rides together, stays together.

That being said, it appears that Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and their little bundle of cuteness Blue Ivy all enjoy sticking together when it comes to riding their bicycles through urban landscapes.

Mrs. Carter shared a few photos over the weekend, showing the trio out and about in a city that we're assuming is either Amsterdam or Barcelona. Queen B is currently on the road with The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

Regardless of the location, it's kind of amazing that they're able to traverse the streets without being mobbed.

It's also freakin' adorable to see Blue Ivy all bundled up, riding behind her dad and protected with that bright orange helmet.

Aside from being cute with her family, Beyoncé also made a pit stop at the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam.

Beyonce Shares Sexy New Performance Costumes For Mrs. Carter World Tour

Adding to the setlist meant cutting classic tunes like the iconic "Run the World (Girls)," "End of Time," and "Diva." But diehard fans can rest assured that most of Queen Bey's classics like "Single Ladies," "Halo," "If I Were a Boy," and "Crazy in Love" remain on the lineup.

The new songs mean new outfits, and the curvaceous diva did not disappoint. In leather booty shorts and an embellished red flannel button up, Beyonce looked fierce with her hair down and wavy.

The sultry songstress also wore a sparkly one-piece while riding atop a set piece similar to the one she worked in her "Partition" music video. But the most noteworthy addition to the mother of  Blue Ivy's wardrobe was her chain-link dress with a leather bra and boy shorts underneath. 

After a little more than a month on the road, Beyonce will finally wrap her Mrs. Carter World Tour Show on March 27 in Lisbon, Portugal.
