Find Out How Kimye Pissed Off This Vogue Writer

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may be in the praises of Anna Wintour, but one Vogue writer still doesn't think they deserved to be on the cover.

In fact, the writer happens to be the one who wrote Kate Upton's feature, which got the bump in favor of the dynamic duo.

Jonathan Van Meter threw some shade Vogue's way in a Facebook post early Monday, saying: "After getting bumped from the cover of April Vogue for Kimye and finding out only once it hit newsstands, I think I have earned the right to post this little bit of frothy praise."

Van Meter, who has profiled celebs like Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey for the fashion mag, then shared a review of Kimye's issue from the blog Magazine Review. 

The review gives it to you straight, kicking off with: "While the article that goes with the Kimye cover story is entertaining, the jewel of this article is undoubtedly "Follow Me" by   Jonathan Van Meter, photographed by Mario Testino."

Overall, the review claims it won't be a collectible, but one of the most important reasons to buy the April issue of Vogue is not for Kim and Kanye's piece, but for Kate Upton's feature, giving this month's issue a "3.9 stars/5."

Kate Upton: "I Wish I Had Smaller Boobs Every Day of My Life"

They've made her a lot of money, but Kate Upton still wishes her boobs were not quite sosubstantial, "I wish I had smaller boobs every day of my life. I love to wear spaghetti tops braless or go for the smallest bikini designs," the swimsuit model told The Sun on Sunday. Cue the violin.

Upton, 21, is currently making her feature film debut in this month's The Other Woman, in which she co-stars with Leslie Mann and Cameron Diaz. The swimsuit model actually covets Cameron's athletic body, “In my eyes, Cameron Diaz has the perfect figure."

The Sports Illustrated cover girl would also prefer her breasts not be brought up all the time. "Every single day, I’m like, ‘Oh, man, it would be so much easier,’ especially if people didn’t constantly bring them up."

While we understand it must be annoying to live in such a breast-obsessed society, we only have so much sympathy for beautiful models with first world worries.

It seems Kate can appreciate her ample bosom occasionally however. "If only they were a little more like earrings. If I could just take them off like they were clip-ons," the blonde beauty said.

Kate Upton and Her Cleavage Make an Appearance in 'Vogue'

The buxom blonde and her famous assets make an appearance within the folds of the fashion magazine's April 2014 issue, in which the two-time Sports Illustrated cover girl models a plethora of cleavage-baring looks in the Mario Testino spread.

In the accompanying article, Upton explains how she's very careful of how she portrays herself these days.

“There’s a line between becoming cheesy versus being sexy,” she says. “And I try to be very careful of that line.”

"What I try to do and it took me a little while to learn is to only do things I really believe in so that it’s more of a collaboration," Upton continues. "That way, I’m not pretending to be someone I’m not. I’m not putting out this, 'Look at me! I’m sexy!' and then feeling like a fake, which would lead to feeling depressed and empty inside."

Kate Upton Named New Face of Express

It's hard to imagine Kate Upton doing any type of work that doesn't show off her most famous attributes.

But today we were surprised to find out she's giving her boobs a break from the fame and testing out her other skills.

Express announced they have named Kate Upton their newest brand ambassador and by "newest" we mean the first spokesperson for the brand in over ten years.

Express chairman and chief executive officer Michael Weiss said, "The new partnership highlights the mutual admiration between Express and Kate and is the culmination of two iconic American establishments coming together."

The model will kick off her new role on Thursday in Miami where she will host Express' spring runway show.  According to Women's Wear Daily, her ads for the retailer will launch this fall.
