Gwyneth Paltrow Breaks Her Silence After Chris Martin Split, Expresses "Deep Gratitude" for Support

After announcing her separation via GoopTuesday, Gwyneth Paltrow broke her silence regarding the breakup via her own lifestyle website early Friday morning. After writing a short paragraph in relation to chicken recipes, she told readers, "P.S. CM and I in deep gratitude for the support of so many."

Oscar winner Paltrow, 41, and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 37, are currently hiding out in the Bahamas with their daughter Apple Martin, 9, and son Moses Martin, 7. The "Paradise" singer has yet to publicly comment on the end of his 10-year marriage, though his father has spoken to the press.

Retired accountant Anthony Martin, 72, told The Mirror that while its "sad and upsetting" that his son is now single, he insisted as the former couple has also said that they are "still great mates." In fact, Anthony said, "If you are married you know you have good days and bad days. We all have our ups and downs. It is sad because there are our two grandchildren. But it is all very amicable between them."

Anthony laughed as he tried to remember the title of the couple's statement, "Conscious Uncoupling." He told the U.K. newspaper, "It's all in the statement, the expression that was used. Conscious..." The former magistrate then added, "I am very proud of what they have achieved in their lives."

In their March 25 statement, the exes said, "We have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than ever. We are parents first and foremost to two wonderful children."

Both stars have received public support from Paltrow's BFF Cameron Diaz, who told on Thursday, "For both Chris and Gwyneth, I mean they worked really hard. People want them to blow up and it to be ugly, but they're kind, generous, loving people who really care about one another. Just because they don't want to be a couple together, doesn't mean that they have to hate one another. They are really good friends. They've made a conscious effort to separate the part of their lives they don't want to live together anymore, and maintain a really beautiful, strong bond as parents and as friends...I think people should really honor that and they should admire it and they should respect it. They've done something really extraordinary, and they've been very brave at presenting that to the public."

Diaz has spoken with Paltrow since the breakup. "She's doing great," she said. "They're doing great."

Khloe Kardashian on Lamar Odom Divorce: "It's Definitely Not the Easiest Thing to Do"

As documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian has been struggling with relationship problems with Lamar Odom for quite some time before deciding to end their marriage on the mid-season finale of the reality show. Now, the TV starlet is finally opening up about why she chose to have her marital issues broadcasted on TV.

Speaking with Australia's 2DayFM Breakfast With the Stars radio show, the 29-year-old was quite candid with her feelings about her split, telling co-hosts Mel B, Jules Lund, Sophie Monk and Merrick Watts that "it's definitely not anything I'm through."

"I'm going through it, but I'm not through it," she explained of the couple's divorce.

"It's really hard to watch yourself on TV. It's definitely different in that the world has to watch, too," Kardashian continued. "It's definitely not the easiest thing to do, but it's what my life is."

Kardashian and Odom, 34, married in September 2009 only meeting on month prior. Last December, Kardashian filed for divorce after rumors of drug use and infidelity from Odom's end began to surface.

According to Kardashian, surrounding herself with good friends and family really helped keep her head on her head during these past years.

"I have the same friends that I've had for 15 years. I think also, just by having each other, as soon as one of us gets a big head, we shoot the other one down. That's the beauty about having brothers and sisters," she said. "I just don't believe the hype. I just don't take myself too seriously. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing."

"It's easy to get lost in this," she added. "It's easy to get lost in all the hype and to have all these 'yes men' around you. It's a really easy thing. But because we're all doing it together, it's a really rare scenario. Most families aren't all in the public eye as we are. It works as a blessing. It works in our favor."

Are Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez Close To Splitting Up?

The rumor mill is churning in full force today, and its latest subjects are Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez. More specifically, both The New York Daily News and Star magazine are saying the two actors are close to breaking up.

Halle, 47, and Olivier, 48, who got married in France last July have a five-month old son together, Maceo Robert, and Star says the new parents are "leading increasingly separate lives because they can't stop fighting."

In fact, the couple has not been seen together since December. Olivier was spotted last night having dinner at one of the Halle's favorite restaurants, but not with Halle. 

Halle, who has been filming her new television series Extant in Los Angeles, has made a few public appearance since giving birth but none with her husband. Most recently, the stunning mom was spotted at an Oscars party and posed on the red carpet  without a wedding band or the emerald engagement ring given to her by Olivier.

Star's source also said, "Olivier thinks Halle is spending too much time working and trying to lose weight and not enough on their baby. She's tired of him telling her what to do. Both of them are very hot-tempered and stubborn." 

The Daily News reports the couple is on the outs, but not necessarily due to arguments. The paper's gossip column Confidenti@l says "the pair have drifted apart because of hectic work schedules."

A source close to Halle said, "nothing is further from the truth" when asked about the split reports. "They are both working and living happily as a married couple and as parents of a newborn, which inherently means you don't go out a lot."

Karrueche Tran Made her Split From Chris Brown Official Over Twitter

After he posted a sexy photo with Ariana Grande last week, Chris Brown had everybody wondering if he 's still dating on again/off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

Well, the model answered all of our questions yesterday with one, simple tweet:

Not dating anyone stop w the bs.

 The split comes shortly after rumors surfaced that Rihanna and Chris Brown have been talking again.

"Chris started texting Rihanna on her birthday, and the two have been sending each other a flurry of texts ever since," a source divulged to the NY Post. "Rihanna didn't write back right away... But later that night she started getting sentimental and texted back, 'Thank you,' and asked how he was.

Since then the two haven't stopped texting each other and friends are freaked out that she's going to start dating him again."

Tran and Brown have had a tumultuous relationship since they began dating in 2011.  They've broken up several times, one during which he briefly dated Rihanna again before going back to Tran.

Tran has supported him through many run-ins with the law, including his stint in rehab for anger management.

As for the Rihanna rumors, Brown's reps told the NY Post: "Chris is focused about his recovery.  He only wants the best for her."

Real Reason Katy Perry Dumped John Mayer

Perhaps there is more to this break-up than previously thought.The real reason Katy Perry dumped John Mayer is that she "found text messages on John’s phone from some random girl.” Sounds about right. He doeshave a bit of a love 'em and leave 'em history. You feel me, Taylor Swift?

Earlier reports said the split was "amicable" and that the stress of Katy's upcoming Prismatic World Tour had created friction between the two "Who You Love" singers. However, a dour Katy stepped out in Los Angeles yesterday for dinner with friends, while Mayer reportedly was spotted having a grand ol' time at a jazz club in New York City Wednesday night.

Eagle eye sources told that the "Half of My Heart" singer was smiling and looked "worry-free" at the Blue Note in Manhattan's Greenwich Village as he took in legendary musician Chick Corea's show. In fact, Mayer did post a video the performance on Instagram, calling it a "Helluva night."

Neither Perry nor Mayer has commented on the split rumors, but we anticipate one of the two artists will post something fittingly cryptic on social media any minute now.

Katy Pary and John Mayer Split Again?

John Mayer and Katy Perry may not be engaged after all.The two have ended their relationship yet again.

A source tells that it was Perry who called time on the couple's relationship, although no other information has been revealed. What is known is that Mayer has not been by the "Roar" singer's side during her recent trips to Milan and London, where she performed at the Brit Awards.

Katy reportedly returned to Los Angeles on Friday and John was spotted leaving his hotel in Manhattan yesterday. 

The musical couple initially started dating in summer of 2012, but split up soon after. They reconciled last year and things seemed to be progressing nicely. They even recorded a song together, "Who You Love," and there was recently rumors of an engagement when Katy was seen wearing a ring on Valentine's Day.
