Irina Shayk has nailed her colours firmly to the masthead with this racy twitter pic.
Wearing a Russia baseball cap, and a pair of Sochi Games Winter Olympics emblazoned gloves, the Russian supermodel is the latest celebrity to show her support for her country.
Irina, 28, who has been dating superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo since 2010, has her loyalties solely reserved for her home nation, the hosts of the Winter Games.
The model's Twitter page is flooded with messages cheering Russia on ahead of the mega event, and her picture will no doubt prompt a stirring of support for the Russian team.
However, her post comes amid news that gay rights activists across the world are holding a day of protests against the Russian government, just two days before the Winter Olympics begin in the southern resort of Sochi.
The protests seek to persuade sponsors of the event to speak out over Russia's controversial laws on homosexuality, and are expected to be held in 19 cities around the globe.
Activists joining protests planned in cities including Melbourne, London, New York, Paris and St Petersburg want Olympic sponsors such as McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Samsung and Visa to speak out against Russia's new laws on homosexuality.
And while Irina has stayed silent on above, she has chosen to throw her weight behind her home team.
Meanwhile Irina's beau Ronaldo recently sparked rumours he may have secretly married after he thanked his wife upon being named World Player of the Year.
The Real Madrid football ace, 28, was presented with the prestigious Fifa Ballon d’Or at a glittering ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland.
Ronaldo fought back tears as he said: 'First of all I have to say a great thanks to all of my team-mates with the club and the national team.
'Without all their efforts it would not have been possible. I am very happy, it is very difficult to win this award.
'Everybody that has been involved with me on a personal level I have to thank. My wife, my friends, my son. It is a tremendously emotional moment.'
